Zach Meiners produces, directs and is featured in the documentary film "Conversion" at the 2022 Portland Film Festival. "I think the majority of America does not realize that Conversion Therapy actually exists." Defined as any attempt to change a person's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, the therapy is still being practiced. "There's at least 3 or 4 that we found operating right here in Portland." Dustin Rayburn is one of 5 people in the film that went through the therapy. "A licensed therapist would never do this to anyone." Conversion therapies use techniques like shaming, electro shock & exorcism.
