St. Helens police officers responded after midnight on Wednesday to Columbia Hills Retirement Center after a fire broke out in the building. Body cam video shows officers working to evacuate seniors as the fire burns unabated and explosions periodically rock the building. In the end, five residents were hospitalized and one died as a result of the fire.
