Aug. 30, 2022 on The Story: Mohamed Osman Adan was arrested back in June for attacking the mother of his two children. He was waiting to go to trial on domestic violence charges when the president of a group called the Portland Freedom Fund paid $2,000 to bail him out. About a week later, he allegedly stabbed and strangled the woman to death in Southeast Portland. It begs the question, why was he released from jail in the first place?
