The historic Butteville Store is the oldest continuously operating retail establishment in Oregon. It’s been running for over 150 years. The Friends of Historic Butteville’s board president Ben Williams says the store was donated In 1999 to the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. "It's owned by Oregonians. And is here for the benefit of Oregonians," Williams said. Jack Richardson is here at the Butteville Store for Taco Tuesday. "We walked over from the park entrance and then, well we just arrived and it was taco day," he said. There’s delicious homemade ice cream too. Store manager Jordan Scoggins is the chef. “We really want the peach to shine. It just came off a tree yesterday," Scoggins said. "Hang out. Have a good time. You're going to be taken care of."
