The general assembly of shareholders of the Vinci group — a French giant in construction, energy, and concessions — has approved the separation of the roles of chairman and CEO. Pierre Anjolras, 59, is set to become CEO on 1 May, while Xavier Huillard, 70, who has served as CEO since 2010, will remain as chairman of the board of directors.
