With '5IVE', his new album, Afrobeats star Davido — who has tens of millions of fans around the world, including King Charles III — hopes to remind the youth of his country, many of whom dream of a life in the United States or other Western countries, that "Nigeria is a very rich country, with so much talent, so much grace, so many opportunities."
"It's good to visit, but don't leave your people," advises the 32-year-old Nigerian-American artist in an interview with AFP. He is set to release his fifth album on Friday. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
