In Ivory Coast's capital, Abidjan, the government continues to rename boulevards, avenues and streets after political, artistic and cultural figures who have marked the country's history. The project, which was officially launched in 2021, has received funding of 10 billion CFA francs and is set to be extended to other major cities.
