"It feels as though the state wants to kill us," says trans rights campaigner Helen Belcher, following the UK's Supreme Court ruling that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex. The decision has left thousands of trans people across the country fearful for their future, says Belcher, who is the chair of the TransActual rights group and a local Liberal Democrat politician.
