Description
Warmer weather returned to Central Ohio Thursday afternoon, and that pattern will get supercharged for Friday!
On gusty southerly winds and with mostly sunny skies, temperatures soar to the low 80s by Friday afternoon. While that is very warm for this time of April (normal high is 64), the record high temperature for the date is 89 set back in 1863.
As we head into the evening clouds will start to build, and then we're tracking a complex weather system move into the Ohio valley into the weekend. A meandering frontal system will focus rain & storms over parts of Ohio at various times through this coming Monday, so make sure you're monitoring conditions with the radar in the 10TV app.
At this point, it's looking like rain & a few storms will impact portions of your Saturday morning plans, but after that will become more scattered lasting through the afternoon and evening. There will be dry time throughout the day, but rain will be possible at just about any time and it does look like much of the 10TV viewing area will receive over 1/2" of rain.
Better news is looking to settle in for Easter Sunday. While rain will remain possible at just about any time during the day, the chances and coverage for this rain are falling. There should be plenty of dry time to get outside, but you may have to dodge scattered showers. If you time things right, you should be able to get your Easter egg hunts in just fine with temps in the 60s.
More storms are possible Sunday night and into Monday afternoon, before we dry out and warm up by the middle of next week. Temps will stay in the 70s even after the rain moves through!
