A man from Maryland that the Trump administration mistakenly deported to a brutal prison in El Salvador is alive. Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen went to El Salvador, demanding to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia. He was denied Wednesday but allowed to see him Thursday. The Trump administration is defying a court order to facilitate Abrego Garcia's return to the U.S. The government says it can't do it and the president of El Salvador says he won't return the prisoner. The Trump administration said it was sending the worst of the worst violent criminals to El Salvador, but Abrego Garcia has never been charged with a crime and the administration admitted initially it was a mistake to send him to the foreign prison.
