Description
A former funeral director accused of hiding a woman's body in a hearse for months has pleaded guilty. Miles Harford, 34, pleaded guilty Monday to a felony count of abuse of a corpse and a misdemeanor count of theft, according to court records. Other charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement. Harford operated Apollo Funeral and Cremation Services in Jefferson County from 2012 to September 2022. He was initially charged related to a body found inside a broken-down hearse on Feb. 6, 2024, at a home in the 2500 block of South Quitman Street in Denver. In December, Harford was charged with additional counts.
