C-Dot is ramping up rock blasting on the Floyd Hill project west of Denver along I-70. It means daily closures east and westbound between 9 AM and 3 PM, but you can get text messages that narrow those times down. Texting 21000 and typing floydhill (one word lower case) will sign you up for text messages alerts that tell you when the blasting will start and when it will end, allowing you to hopefully avoid some of those closures and congestion.
