The Denver Nuggets fired coach Michael Malone on Tuesday, the team announced. The stunning announcement came down Tuesday morning, days before the end of the NBA regular season. The Nuggets also announced the team will not extend the contract of general manager Calvin Booth. Malone coached the Nuggets to the NBA title in 2023 and led the team to eight consecutive winning seasons.
