A fire that broke out in the early hours of Monday morning destroyed a home in Fort Collins. The family inside was able to escape the blaze by climbing out of a window, but tragically they lost two of their pets. The fire started just after midnight near East Harmony Road. According to the Poudre Fire Authority, the flames quickly spread, damaging not only the family’s home but also the exterior of a neighboring house and three cars.
