Description
Denver's National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) franchise plans to build a permanent performance center and temporary stadium on a 43-acre property in Centennial.
Denver NWSL announced the plans Thursday to build a 12,000-seat purpose-built temporary stadium that will be used for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
The stadium will be constructed in partnership with the City of Centennial and the Cherry Creek School District. Following the 2027 NWSL season, the stadium will be reduced to 4,000 seats and will be utilized by the Cherry Creek School District.
Denver NWSL said a 20,000-square-foot performance center will serve as Denver NWSL’s training facility. The center will have state-of-the-art recovery facilities including hot and cold plunge, float pod, red-light therapy, recovery lounge, video analysis theater and dining room.
The property will also have eight soccer fields.
