Aurora Police officers can now chase people in stolen cars and drunken driving suspects as part of a new pursuit policy unveiled this week. "None of this is a shall – you have to go into a pursuit," Police Chief Todd Chamberlain told 9NEWS on Tuesday about the policy announced the day before. "This is at the discretion of the officer to look at the situation that he or she is in and then make that determination if that action equals the offense or the incident that's unfolding in front of them."
