Hundreds of people gathered at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park early this morning to protest recent layoffs affecting national park employees. The demonstration, which began at 10 a.m., is a direct response to the news that approximately 1,000 National Park Service workers have lost their jobs, many of whom were still in a probationary period.
