Between the high rent in Denver and pricey mountain towns, Colorado is no stranger to the affordable housing crisis. A new institute at MSU Denver is helping teach students how to tackle affordable housing and pass that knowledge on to help others. A large pledge to the MSU Denver Foundation helped the university establish the FHLBank Topeka Affordable Housing Institute and expand offerings for students. The university said classes are helping teach students about solutions for this issue that's long plagued the state.
