This past weekend, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority jumped into action to save a horse trapped in a frozen pond at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch and Wedding Venue. Bella, a beloved horse at the ranch, had fallen through the ice and spent about 45 minutes halfway submerged in freezing water before crews were able to rescue her. The incident, which took place on Sunday afternoon, marks the second horse rescue in Loveland in just a few weeks - which the team says is unusual.
