Description
A house fire that killed a person in Castle Rock Monday started accidentally, the Castle Rock Fire Department said.
Firefighters said the fire was first reported around 8:10 a.m. Monday at a home at the intersection of Fourth and Lewis streets. The victim, who was the only person home at the time, was taken to the hospital, where they died. A cat was also killed in the fire, the fire department said.
