A Steamboat Springs day care center and school has been shut down by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) after allegations of child abuse. The Steamboat Springs Police Department opened a criminal investigation after receiving information about a teacher at Young Tracks Preschool and Day Care Center suspected of physically abusing children at the school.
