On December 12th, 2006, more than a hundred federal law enforcement officers entered a Swift meat-packing plant, arresting 262 workers who were in the country without proper documentation. The raid was part of a nationwide operation that saw more than 1,000 people detained at multiple facilities. This is a 9NEWS broadcast from that day.
