The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has hired an outside consulting firm to assess its forensic services and operations after an investigation found a DNA analyst manipulated data in hundreds of cases. CBI said Wisconsin-based Forward Resolutions LLC has been awarded a $770,000 contract "to conduct a complete assessment of CBI policies, procedures, and operational performance within Forensics Services."
