A powerful arctic cold front arrived in Colorado on Friday and will keep the state very cold until Wednesday. The 9NEWS Weather Impact Team has issued 9NEWS Weather Impact Days for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning. Colorado woke up Sunday to extremely cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills. We started at -11 at Denver International Airport and warmed to 19 degrees. Average highs are in the mid 40s this time of year. The arctic cold maintains its hold on the region Sunday night. Another wave of snow comes later this evening as well.
