The city of Denver has acquired the former Park Hill Golf Course for use as a public park, city leaders announced Wednesday. Mayor Mike Johnston said the 155-acre parcel is the city’s largest acquisition of a new park in more than 100 years. The city is acquiring the land from owner Westside Investment Partners through a land swap, Johnston said. The city will trade 145 acres of undeveloped land in Adams County near Denver International Airport.
