Description
If you plan to celebrate New Year's Eve in downtown Denver and use RTD to get home afterward, be aware that after the toasts and fireworks, you won't have time to linger.
The good news: All bus and rail routes are free from 7 p.m. Tuesday through 7 a.m. Wednesday under RTD's Zero Fare program, which encourages residents to ring in the new year responsibly. The agency also said it will add rail cars to trains where possible to accommodate more riders from New Year's Eve events.
