The investigation into the deadly crash of Azerbaijan Airlines flight in Kazakhstan on Christmas Day now shows the crash came after the passenger plane experienced "physical and technical external interference." Of the 67 people on board, 38 were killed. Russian officials initially said a bird strike caused the crash, but a US official said early evidence actually indicated a Russian anti-aircraft system hit it. The crash happened as Russian air forces were defending against a Ukrainian drone attack.
