Description

South Metro Fire responded to a hazmat spill after a crash on I-25 near Castle Rock Parkway. Crews shared these pictures -- when the orange cat showed up on the scene when they were cleaning up. The cat got in the back of the ambulance before being taken to the Dumb Friends League Buddy Center in Castle Rock. Today South Metro shared an update. One of the firefighters the cat met that day of the crash -- adopted him. The firefighter fittingly named the cat "Hazi."
