Emmett, one of two grizzly bears that live at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, in Colorado Springs, Colo., is 19 years old and shares space with his longtime roommate, Digger. Grizzlies are native to the Rocky Mountain region, although they're not found in Colorado's wild places. Their fluffy coats and extra weight gained before winter help them stay warm at the Zoo, in addition to having access to dens and dry, comfy beds.
