A man is in custody and a homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead inside a Loveland residence Friday night, according to a release from the Loveland Police Department. Just before 7 p.m. Friday, officers received a call for a welfare check in the 3700 block of Foothills Drive, the release said. The caller reportedly said she was worried something had happened to her mother and that she was not able to get ahold of her.
