Description
With the end of the MLB season, it appears Bob Costas has called his last game. The legendary sportscaster confirmed to "The Athletic" that he's retiring from baseball play-by-play announcing.
Costas had been the lead voice on the major league baseball network since its inception 15 years ago. 'The Athletic' reports the 72-year-old will still work as a studio show analyst for the network. Costas first started calling baseball games in 1980 for NBC Sports.
