Description
Areas in Pasco County, just to the north of Tampa, were underwater Friday after Hurricane Milton tore through the west-central part of Florida on Thursday. Airboats were being used to get around flooded roads. Milton dumped more than a foot of rain in portions of Pasco County. At least 17 people were killed in the storm with five of those deaths reported in St. Lucie County after tornadoes struck the Spanish Lakes Country Club Village, a neighborhood designed for residents 55 and older.
