A driver was arrested after a pedestrian was hit and killed in a crash Sunday morning, the Aurora Police Department said. Police said the crash happened just before 6 a.m. in the area of South Parker Road and South Peoria Street. Police said the driver of an Infiniti SUV was southbound when he lost control, crashing into another vehicle and hitting a pedestrian. The SUV also hit a light pole and two trees before stopping in the intersection, police said.
