The Mountain View town council member accused of shooting a teen who had come to his property to ask about taking homecoming pictures has been formally charged with multiple counts, including second-degree assault and menacing. The charges filed in Jefferson County District Court stem from a shooting on Sept. 10 in Conifer. Around 4:15 p.m., deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Pleasant Park Road after a woman reported trespassers on the property.
