Loveland Ski Area - in Georgetown, Colorado - is planning to fire up the snow guns in 20 days, aiming for an opening day between mid-October and early November. It typically takes about two weeks of continuous snowmaking to get the mountain ready. The exact opening date will depend on the weather, but we’re always ready to kick off the season as soon as conditions allow. Last year Loveland opened on Nov. 10, 2023.
