South Metro Fire Rescue said residents evacuated from a two-alarm fire with two homes on fire and a third home threatened Thursday afternoon in Douglas County. The homes are located on Woodrose Lane south of West Highlands Ranch Parkway in unincorporated areas of Douglas County. The fire also spread to trees in a backyard, South Metro Fire Rescue said.
