One person is in custody Wednesday after shots were fired at officers who were pursuing a driver wanted in connection with a burglary at a business in Douglas County. At about 2:38 a.m., Douglas County deputies responded to an alarm at a salvage yard near Highway 85 and Blakeland Drive in Highlands Ranch. Somebody with the management of the salvage yard was watching video from cameras on the property and told deputies that there may be people still on the property.
