Description
It's a hot and mainly dry Labor Day ahead for most of Colorado, although there could be a few gusty mountain showers and storms this afternoon along with localized high fire danger on parts of the Eastern Plains.
Temperatures may tick up a degree or two tomorrow ahead of a sharp cold front that'll push through on Wednesday, knocking back our highs into the low 80s with a pretty good chance for showers and storms on Wednesday.
It'll stay cool on Thursday, perhaps in the upper 70s for a high in Denver, and another chance for storms, though probably a lower chance than Wednesday's.
It dries out and warms up for Friday and into the weekend, with highs soaring back into the mid-to-upper 80s and basically no storm chances.
