A Golden Police officer is recovering after being injured by the driver of a stolen truck Friday morning. The officer was struck when police from Golden and deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tried to recover a stolen Ford F-250 that was in the parking lot of the Home Depot at West Colfax Avenue and Highway 6, Golden Police said.
