Starting next month, the Central Garden Trail will be off-limits to install more water lines. The project will cost more than $2 million. The goal is to enhance safety, improve accessible parking for people with disabilities and make sure fire crews can fight a wildfire there. Back in 20-12, the Waldo Canyon Fire put Garden of the Gods in danger. The manager of the park said this project will help them in case they ever find themselves in that situation again.
