A fatal crash closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 225 in Denver early Tuesday morning. The Denver Police Department said it was investigating a fatal crash involving a motorist and a pedestrian. The motorist remained on scene and the pedestrian was pronounced deceased, Denver Police posted on X at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday. Southbound I-225 is closed at Yosemite during the investigation. Drivers are advised to find an alternate route around the area.
