A man told officers he shot and killed an intruder after he was attacked inside his home overnight, Commerce City police said. Police said the shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday at a home on East 64th Avenue. Police said the resident told officers he was injured in an attack inside his home, and that he shot an unknown intruder.
