Well that's a nasty surprise. A Wheat Ridge police officer was searching a car for drugs and weapons when he came across a live rattlesnake inside a plastic bin. Police said the vehicle's owner said they had lent the car to a friend. Officers found the car in a parking lot by a trailhead in Wheat Ridge and saw drug paraphernalia inside. They found drugs, a gun and the full-grown rattlesnake inside.
