Eight weeks after the collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge, the Dali cargo ship was moving again. Monday Several tug boats pulled the ship away from the bridge, back into the shipping channel and to a local port. The Dali lost power and steering control before slamming into a bridge support causing it to collapse. The ship had been stuck under tons of wreckage. Salvage efforts including the use of explosives and giant floating cranes have now freed the ship. The Dali's 22 crew members weren't hurt and have been on the ship since the crash including during those controlled explosions. They had to stay on board because of US regulations that any ship must have a minimum staff at all times.
