Whataburger is continuing its growth in Colorado with a new restaurant south of Denver. Whataburger franchisee BurgerWorks Colorado, LLC opened its first Monument restaurant location Tuesday morning. Located at 17889 Fat Tire Dr. with a double drive-thru and an outdoor dining area with a turf yard, the restaurant is the first Whataburger in Colorado not located in Colorado Springs. Whataburger said the restaurant's exterior features Whataburger’s "signature orange and white with corten metal to blend in with Monument’s rustic charm." The restaurant will employ 100 jobs in the Monument area. "Our guests here in the Pikes Peak region have been phenomenal in their support of our brand. We’re definitely feeling the love," BurgerWorks Colorado owner William Tamminga said. "We’re so excited to bring more bold, fresh Whataburger flavors to Monument at our newest location at 17889 Fat Tire Drive."
