No one was injured when the pilot of a single-engine plane made an emergency landing on Highway 287 in Boulder County Sunday afternoon. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said it happened just after 3 p.m. The pilot was on his way from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport when the plane experienced mechanical issues, the sheriff's office said.
