Description
A courtroom brawl breaks out during a murder sentencing in Maine on Friday.
It happened Friday just moments after Jason Servil was sentenced to 45 years in prison for murdering Alice Abbott two years ago.
Abbott's brother jumped over the barrier wall in an apparent attempt to attack Servil.
But the brother was stopped by a county corrections officer who used a stun gun.
The 20-year-old Servil pleaded guilty to killing Abbott, who was also 20.
Abbott’s family had asked for a life sentence.
The medical examiner’s office found approximately 100 wounds on Abbott’s body and ruled she died from blood loss.
The brother was taken away in handcuffs.
