Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after a hot air balloon crashed near a Minnesota highway near Rochester on Wednesday.
Traffic cameras captured the red, white and blue balloon veering towards Highway 63 before it appears to collide with a power line and sparks fly.
The balloon was attempting to land in a field when a gust of wind pushed it into a power line, according to preliminary information from the Rochester Police Department.
Two of the balloon's three occupants reported minor injuries, according to the police.
