Capt. Jake Howey with the Wisconsin Army National Guard surprised his family when he returned home early from his almost year-long deployment. He worked with his wife's coworkers to surprise her at work before surprising their 6 kids at school. Kristina Howey also had her own surprise for her husband: She wrote him a letter every day while he was away but did not send them. So now, he has a years-worth of letters to read.
