Upslope flow from the system currently affecting our state will continue to produce light snow this morning that could make for slick conditions especially as you go farther west into the foothills. Snow will gradually end as the day goes on but mountain snow will continue with accumulations relatively light into tonight as the snow winds down. A high pressure ridge builds into the region with the result being fair and warmer weather into early next week. Then a stronger storm is possible late Wednesday into Thursday of next week. The ingredients and track of this storm seem to be coming together for a possible heavy snow event. A lot of factors still have to come into play to make this happen, but right now the potential is there.
